Tropical berry smoothie bowl

On today’s episode of mini tries something random and somehow turns out to like it… I present to you a super nutritious, delicious, and ~hella trendy~ smoothie bowl. Smoothie bowls are basically thicker versions of smoothies, poured into – you guessed it – a bowl, and topped with fresh toppings! I honestly liked this one – I wouldn’t add the raspberries next time, simply because it was a bit too sour for my liking (and trust me, I love anything sour) – and I’d love to add more fresh fruit on top, but really I just used what I could find in the house. Feel free to use anything you’d like. This is your time to be creative. I just wanted to show you what I threw together. I hope you give it a try. c:

makes 1 serving

Smoothie Mix

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/4 cup frozen mango
  • 5-6 frozen raspberries
  • 2 tbsp. honey


  • 1 banana, sliced
  • Handful coconut flakes
  • 1 tbsp. honey


  1. Add all smoothie ingredients into blender
  2. Blend until desired consistency is reached – this may take some time and some stop-and-go mixing if your blender isn’t powerful
  3. Pour smoothie mix into a bowl
  4. Top with sliced bananas, coconut flakes, and more honey
